Spritz is at Ed’s shop (Mighty Riders) for some upgrades (seat, headset, brake levers and cable, bar tape) and a tune-up. Hope to get him back soon. Next round of upgrades will be an overhaul of the drivetrain. And after that, maybe a new paint job. Yeah, restoring/updating Spritz has become a hobby in addition to being a form of excercise… and I love it! Ed believes that my bike frame is made by one of two small European companies… Rossi/Rosi/Rosy (?) or Choke (?) and is very similar to the high-end Italian frames made by Colnago from the same era. Cool!

Volunteering at SPCA today was fun… lots of new dogs, and a new rabbit named Emma. Emma is a “lop,” she’s white with very unique and distinct patterning. She has gray droppy ears and two gray patches, one on each “nostril.” She looks so funny and cute. Plus she’s very quiet and non-aggressive.

Evening was a lot of fun with K & K. We wanted to cheer her up after her breakup so we went out for dinner at Hapa and then dessert/gelato. I’m glad to see that K is doing well and had lots of fun tonight. She’s like a little sister to me. It’s too bad the dude at Starbucks that she had a crush on smokes… one day you’ll get your man!
